My grandfather was an enthusiastic amateur photographer, and when I was 16, I also received his Kodak Retinal from 1948. This is where the real work began, and I started experimenting, always out and about with the Retina, which is how I ended up in the darkroom. Later, I switched to Nikon and Mamiya and took things a step further. Architectural, industrial, and even portrait photography captured my attention, and I always saw the beauty in them that I wanted to capture in a photograph. This also sparked my passion for various cameras, which is why I started using and collecting them. I’m passionate about vintage cameras, the many different types and brands, the technology, and the design. But the collection grew too large, so I decided to sell it. You often meet wonderful people, young and old, who share the same passion. What could be better than turning your hobby into your job? I collected cameras for 40 years. At one point I had more than 600 cameras. Too many, and I decided to sell them and do other things. Now I collect beautiful memories. Seeing something of the world.Kontakinformasjon: e-mail: info@oldcameras.nl
